So, Sean Hannity says his will outline on Sunday the top 10 reasons why people should not vote for Obama.
Gone are the days when you could tune in to the main stream news media in the States and actually get news. Today, what we get is Republicans like Sean Hannity and Fox News (which claims to be fair and balanced) attacking Barak Obama and pushing their Republican agenda.
How can an individual employed to a "news" station go on air and tell people that they are not to vote for a particular person as President of their country - whoever that person may be. Where does this "journalist" go off seeking to affect the outcome a Presidential Election by telling people that they are not to vote for a candidate. And then Americans pride themselves in spreading democracy to the world when democracy does not exist in their own country (as evidenced by the high number of anti-Bush voters who were not allowed to vote in the last 2 elections).
In many parts of the world, Jamaica included, such a "journalist" would be looking for another job already. America is different. Yes, I believe in freedom of speech, but freedom of speech comes with responsibility (that is why persons can be easily sued for what they say in America where freedom of speech is such a big deal).
Of course, this just confirms what we already know, the mainstream news media in the States are not about presenting news, but rather putting on a show for entertainment purposes and ratings.
Yes, the U.S. Presidential Elections is a big deal, indeed we are following it closely here in Jamaica, but it would seem that since the start of campaigning absolutely nothing has taken place in the States other that what the candidates are doing and things associated with the Elections.
Since campaigning has begun, not one person has been killed in America, no one has won a lottery, on one was raped, and there has been not been a single road fatality. I find that remarkable!
The U.S. should have Presidential Elections more often! Like once every two years.

I do believe that some American Media sources push some political agenda but I dont think there is anything bad about that. Biases exist for both parties Im sure you can find a network that leans to the right just as Fox News leans to the left. Jus know that you wont necessarily get objective point of view there.
