The Woman Of My Dreams

The picture above is of Latoya and I at Emancipation Park for the Prime Minister's Youth Awards Ceremony on November 30, 2008. That was the first time that she and I went out.

We met for the first time on November 16, 2008 when she gave a testimony at our Church (Walk By Faith Tabernacle).

When I first met her I had no clue that I would have come to feel the way that I feel about her now. After she gave her testimony the moderator of the service asked that persons take her number to call and encourage her. I was reluctant to get her number at first because I was thinking what if she thinks that I'm looking her.

Anywho, I got her number and started calling her. We went out a couple times and before I knew it I was completely in love with her (and she felt the same about me).

She is the most wonderful woman that I have ever met in my life and I want to spend the rest of life with her.

The Lord has confirmed that she is the one for me (through Prophet McKenzie on Friday December 19). It is just a matter of time right now.

I could not have imagined that someone would have made me as happy as Latoya has in the few short few weeks that I have known her. But hey, that is how God is. He is just amazing.

I am grateful to God for her. I want to do everything humanly possible to ensure that she is happy and blessed for as long as we are together.

I remember praying with her shortly after we met that the Lord would bless her with a wonderful husband. Little did I know that the Lord had me in mind.

I've already picked out the ring and I have something special in mind for the proposal (which I certainly can't reveal here as it would no longer be a surprise, particularly for her).

Believe you me, the picture above does not do her justice - it really doesn't capture all of her hotness. At least she makes me look good.

Hayden Panettiere: Style Maven

One of the things I admire about Hayden Panettiere is that, despite her being as young as she is, she has a great sense of style.

The picture on the left is of Hayden at Nickelodeon's 20th Annual Kids' Choice Awards - April, 24, 2007.

I always love the look on pencil jeans and heels.

You know, Barak, I really made a fool of myself during the Presidential Debates, so why don't we just talk about something less controversial right now, like football?

Movies I'm Looking Forward To Seeing

I went to see Eagle Eye the other day, but it was not showing for the time I got there. I ended up seeing Body Of Lies.

I have to say that Body Of Lies is just as bad (to me) as the reviews that I have read online. There was alot of telephone conversations, and the plot line was convoluted. It was the usual international spy thriller. To make it worse, I had already seen Leo in a similar movie - Blood Diamond.

The movies I'm looking forward to seeing are Quantum of Solace, Watchmen, Transformers 2, Transporter 3 and Spiderman 4.

Half-Way-Tree Prison

I would like to get my money back from the genius who has used my hard earned tax dollars to turn all of Half-Way-Tree into a prison.

Someone in government with one too many degrees has come to the conclusion that the way to get people to not walk in the streets is to put all these ridiculous railings everywhere that people have to walk.

Now, I am all for rule and order and whatnot, but these railings make walking in Half-Way-Tree very restrictive (especially around the corner of Tastees Patties). What is now happening is that
people simply walk on the outside of the railings in the streets (totally defeating the purpose of the railings).

Sometime ago a woman was cruched to death by a JUTC bus when it was driving around one of these railings. There was (and still is) no break in the railing so the woman could not move out of the way.

The "wise" people who implement these laws and waste my tax dollars to endanger people's lives do not walk or take the bus so they are clueless when it comes to meeting the needs of citizens.

On another note, there are people who feel that they should walk across the road when the light is green thereby obstructing traffic and putting themselves and even little children being dragged by them in danger. If one day some motorist should decide that enough is enough and mow them down I will not give 2 hoots.

All Together Sing

I have been seeing some excellent performances on All Together Sing over the past few weeks. Those young people are very talented.

Merl Grove High School really impressed me on Sunday. The lead singer was very impressive.

The judges are really awful. I think they should get rid of the old lady for next year. All she keeps talking about is "Don't pronounce your words like the Americans do." If the producers of the show had a problem with schools pronouncing words like the Americans do, they would not have had categories requiring American songs.

I heard one school bending their words to please her and they sounded wrong. If I was the choir director I would tell my peeps to completely ignore the judges and do their things. After all, the judges have far less say in who goes or who stays than the voting public.

Remember SLR and Rising Stars?

Keeping Ourselves Healthy

This thought has been on my mind for a while. I went to KFC with some work colleagues recently. It had been about 2 years since I went to KFC before that. I ordered the perfunctory fries, chicken and Tropicana.

Now, I was under the impression that Tropicana was like Fruta so I drank that. I didn't know that it was regular soda. I stopped drinking soda a few years ago.

Within an hour of having lunch I had a MASSIVE headache and couldn't figure out what the cause was. It then dawned on me that it was the Tropicana. It was just regular soda.

The thing is, I used to drinking soda like crazy when I was younger. In recent years I became more health conscious and I stopped. The thing is, now that I have stopped, I am a lot more healthier and my body can no longer tolerate it and it make me sick.

Someone offered my a bottle of soda some months ago. I took a sip and INSTANTLY felt sick! With the KFC soda, I have food in my stomach and so it took some time to go through my system.

I have absolutely no intention of eating at KFC ever again. They would have to radically change their menu. And I sure that the menu presented in the States is different from that in Jamaica (because Americans are more health conscious). If they did not, they would not make any money.

I have tried to live as healthy a life as possible over the past few years. I used to drink cups of coffee a day. I stopped drinking coffee in 1997.

I try to eat healthily and excercise when ever I can. I cut down on the junk food.

I think I really need to pick up back basketball. I used to get incredible workouts on the court.

Here is the thing: The way I see it, there is no point in living life anyway we want right now, then have to have triple-bypass surgery when we hit 45.

God has given us one body and we should take care of it. Our bodies are the temple of the Lord and we shoudld respect it as such and not put junk in it. We would be the ones to pay the price later anyway.

I had a medical condition that I was born with (it wasn't impotence), and for years I prayed that the Lord would heal me. He has healed me of other things. But HE didn't - at least not the way that I thought He would. It so happens that as my diet changed the condition went away completely.

In his book, "Natural Cures 'They' Don't Want You To Know About", Kevin Trudeau the many ways that we canprevent and REVERSE disease simply by changing our diet and our lifestyles. He also outlines how the US Food and Drug Administration approve dozens drugs every year that are ineffective and come with dangerous side effects. The drug companies now that the drugs don't work but it all boils don't to one thing: Money.

These drug companies make billions of dollars every years.

I only got to leaf through the book, but I want to get a copy and read it thoroghly. He even mentions that using microwave machines changes the chemical make-up of foods making them totally USELESS to our bodies.

I got the flu some time ago and got some Zion Roots and felt much better almost immediately. So the next day I went and got some Centrum Multivitamins as I felt that I needed a vitamin boost. I took ONE pill and IT MADE ME SICK!!! I got a massive headache all day and I know it was the Centrum. The pills were not expired or tainted or anything like that. The deal is that I am so healthy now that my body rejects all synthetic foods - EVEN VITAMINS!!! Just think about that for a second - I AM SO HEALTHY RIGHT NOW THAT VITAMINS MADE ME VIOLENTLY SICK BECAUSE IT IS SYNTHETIC.

It may cost more to eat healthily than to not do so, but the benefits are far greater in the long run.

The Goodness of Almighty God!

I am grateful to God for His goodness and grace towards me. He forgives my sins and heals me.

I thank Him for the job that He has blessed me with.

I am thankful to God for what He will do in my life. I thank Him for the car and the house that He will bless me with and the beautiful and wonderful woman of God that He will bless me with as a wife. :)

The Lord never ceases to amaze me. To be in God is to be lost in a maze in grace!

I am truly blessed and highly favoured by the Lord God Almighty.

Hallelujah!!!

Sean Hannity and Fox News

So, Sean Hannity says his will outline on Sunday the top 10 reasons why people should not vote for Obama.

Gone are the days when you could tune in to the main stream news media in the States and actually get news. Today, what we get is Republicans like Sean Hannity and Fox News (which claims to be fair and balanced) attacking Barak Obama and pushing their Republican agenda.

How can an individual employed to a "news" station go on air and tell people that they are not to vote for a particular person as President of their country - whoever that person may be. Where does this "journalist" go off seeking to affect the outcome a Presidential Election by telling people that they are not to vote for a candidate. And then Americans pride themselves in spreading democracy to the world when democracy does not exist in their own country (as evidenced by the high number of anti-Bush voters who were not allowed to vote in the last 2 elections).

In many parts of the world, Jamaica included, such a "journalist" would be looking for another job already. America is different. Yes, I believe in freedom of speech, but freedom of speech comes with responsibility (that is why persons can be easily sued for what they say in America where freedom of speech is such a big deal).

Of course, this just confirms what we already know, the mainstream news media in the States are not about presenting news, but rather putting on a show for entertainment purposes and ratings.

Yes, the U.S. Presidential Elections is a big deal, indeed we are following it closely here in Jamaica, but it would seem that since the start of campaigning absolutely nothing has taken place in the States other that what the candidates are doing and things associated with the Elections.

Since campaigning has begun, not one person has been killed in America, no one has won a lottery, on one was raped, and there has been not been a single road fatality. I find that remarkable!

The U.S. should have Presidential Elections more often! Like once every two years.
